Life is so Delicate. John is resting comfortably and has been surrounded by family and friends. This has been a truly humbling experience to see my children and the love they have for their father and his friends and the outpouring of support. He is resting and peaceful and there doesn't seem to be any pain so for now we comfort. Please take a minute and grab your family and hug them and tell them they are loved. John always did. Family and friends always knew they were loved.

He did too! No matter what or when the last thing he always said to me before walking away was "love you bub"..... I will never forget our conversations about how our fantasy teams were doing and how our beloved Dbacks were looking! So much of our relationship was based around sports due to our passion for them but aside from that he taught me so much about becoming a man and for that I will always be grateful. It is an incredible honor to me that I get to say John Bathauer is not only my uncle and a best friend but in many ways was an incredible father figure to me when I needed him the most. I love you Uncle John! and to my aunt anne and my cousins jenni, jessi, josh, lexi, mike and matt I love you all and hold so all so close to my heart!
